How we choose products
Our buyer guides are research-driven: we synthesize verified specs, large volumes of real owner reviews, and credible expert sources against consistent criteria. Independence
Recommendations are never influenced by commissions or brand relationships. See our affiliate disclosure. We include honest cons on every recommendation and will recommend against buying when that's the right call.
Honesty & accuracy
- We never fabricate test results, scores, or hands-on claims.
- We attribute claims to their basis — specs, or patterns across owner reviews.
- We use clearly-labeled “best for” picks, not invented numeric scores.
- Prices and availability are accurate at publication and can change.
Updates & corrections
We re-check picks and prices and re-date guides when we do. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note material corrections. Spotted an error? Let us know and we'll review it.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to assist with research and drafting, but every published guide is reviewed and edited by a person, and the judgment, picks, and recommendations are our own.
